Agricultural machinery service technician with a strong mechanical background required to deliver high-quality service and technical support to customers. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
- Maintain, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on agricultural equipment including tractors and harvesters. This involves analyzing equipment issues, diagnosing problems, and implementing effective solutions.
- Provide technical support to agents and work closely with product lines for proactive rectifications. This requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and rectify equipment faults. This involves utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and resolve complex problems.
- Conduct regular inspections and submit accurate service reports within required timeframes. This ensures that customers receive timely and reliable service, which is critical for their success.
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience in agricultural machinery service preferably with John Deere, Case IH, New Holland, or similar brands. Strong knowledge of agricultural equipment systems and components is essential.
- Strong diagnostic, repair, and mechanical skills. The ability to think critically and solve complex problems is vital for this role.
- Understanding of agricultural equipment systems and components. Familiarity with industry-standard diagnostic tools and techniques is also desirable.
