Senior Data Architect Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect to lead our data strategy and drive business outcomes through data-driven insights.

About the Role:

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data architectures that support business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer experiences.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality data models, definitions, and mappings to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility.
  • Design, build, test, and deploy solutions across multiple environments using Inmon, 3NF, and Kimball methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into robust data solutions.
  • Analyse user requirements to design functional specifications for front-end applications and provide proactive improvements that align with business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve our data architecture.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive expertise in data architecture, data modelling, and data warehouse design.
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Azure Data Platform, with a strong focus on Azure Databricks.
  • Strong track record in Star Schema design and implementation to optimise data accessibility and analytics.
  • In-depth knowledge of metadata management to ensure consistency and integrity across data models.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into robust data solutions.
  • Practical understanding of Git-based version control and DevOps practices.
