GPU Modelling Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a talented software developer with expertise in C++ and GPU modelling to join our design and verification team in Sydney. As a key member, you will be responsible for crafting industry-leading simulation platforms for AMD's GPUs.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software design principles, engineering practices, and excellent communication skills. You will collaborate with architects, design engineers, and verification engineers on specifications, verification plans, and test plans.

  • Develop and maintain complex C/C++ models and supporting systems
  • Debug, test, analyze, and improve model functional and performance accuracy
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improving the design and verification environment
Required Skills:
  • Strong understanding of C++, software design principles, and engineering practices
  • Experience with GPU or other computer hardware and Graphics APIs is an advantage
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to concisely present results and status to peers and management
  • Bachelor or Master level degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Preferred Experience:
  • Software development using C or C++
  • Use of industry-standard profiling and debug tools
  • Graphics API or graphics pipeline knowledge
  • Hardware design or verification
  • Hardware implementation using HDLs such as Verilog or VHDL
  • Scripting languages - Python, Perl, shell
  • Productivity tools – Jira, Jenkins
  • Configuration Management – Perforce, GIT
