We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join our team at the Yarrow Place Rape and Sexual Assault Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive therapeutic support services to individuals who have experienced trauma.
Key Responsibilities- Provide one-to-one therapeutic support and group work services to individuals of all genders, 16 years and over, who have been subjected to a rape or sexual assault.
- Contribute to and support a range of research initiatives and projects, including the development of service goals and strategies.
- Provide education and training programs to promote awareness and understanding of trauma and its impact.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support.
- Ability to provide crisis and long-term counselling and group work services.
- Experience working in crisis and trauma situations.
- Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Knowledge of medical, legal, and counselling rights and options for victims of rape and sexual assault.
- Relocation financial support may be negotiated, subject to eligibility.
