We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Concrete Pumping Operations Specialist to join our Operations team at Boral North America based in Sydney. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of concrete pumping equipment across various sites.

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience within the concrete, construction or heavy industrial sectors, with a strong background in mechanical engineering and expertise in CAD and BIM software.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity that offers a competitive salary of $120,000 per annum, as well as access to professional development resources and a range of employee benefits.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with authorities to determine compliance requirements for concrete pumping operations;
  • Working closely with clients and internal staff to establish safe and efficient concrete pumping set-ups, concrete line builds, tower boom installations, and jumping sequences;
  • Delivering engineering solutions that meet business requirements within budget and schedule;
  • Evaluating tenders and assisting with professional presentations of concrete pumping operations;
  • Reviewing and maintaining mechanical standards across the business to ensure the provision of support to project sites using mechanical equipment;
  • Ensuring risk management is maintained to the highest standard.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Relevant Mechanical Engineering experience within the concrete, construction or heavy industrial sectors;
  • Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering;
  • Proven hands-on experience utilising CAD and BIM software;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to think on your feet and solve problems.
