Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Kalmar Equipment (Australia) Pty Ltd. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for providing installation, maintenance, and support of Kalmar mobile equipment and other hydraulic mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair Kalmar mobile equipment and other hydraulic mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Provide excellent customer service by delivering high-quality work and meeting deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Formal trade qualification in vehicle, mechanic, diesel mechanic, or heavy vehicles.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the mechanical handling, port, or industrial operations industry sector.
  • Effective time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
