About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People Business Partner to join our team at Team Global Express. As a key member of our People and Culture function, you will play a critical role in driving strategic business outcomes and ensuring effective people management across our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigations and Disciplinary Actions: Conduct thorough investigations into workplace behavior issues, document efforts thoroughly, and provide support to management teams in implementing disciplinary or performance improvement actions.
  • Return to Work and Injury Management: Coordinate return-to-work plans for employees with non-work-related injuries, collaborate with injury management specialists, and contribute to policy improvement to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Advisory and Compliance: Review and analyze People and Culture policies, provide expert advice to management teams on compliance and best practices, and liaise with specialists for complex queries.
  • Change Management and Implementation: Assist in delivering change initiatives across business units, gather feedback to refine change management approaches, and support the implementation of strategic People and Culture programs to address workforce challenges and build sustainable capability.
  • Employee Experience and Engagement: Enhance employee experience by understanding perspectives, addressing needs, and collaborating to deliver high-quality services that meet the evolving needs of our employees.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or Organizational Development.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years' experience in a People Business Partner role, preferably within the industrial sector.
  • Skills: Proven ability to resolve workplace behavior issues, manage return-to-work matters, and deliver successful change management interventions. Strong investigative skills, with experience in supporting managers through disciplinary actions and performance improvements.
