Job Title: Customer Communication and Marketing Manager

About the Opportunity:

A leading insurance provider is seeking a results-driven Customer Communications and Marketing Manager to join their high-performing team on a 6-month contract in Melbourne or Sydney.

  • The successful candidate will lead customer communication initiatives and support high-profile retail insurance projects.

  • They will bring strong experience in managing customer communications, a creative and solution-focused mindset, and the ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously.

  • They will thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy bringing people together to deliver outstanding work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver integrated customer communications across multiple channels in support of key retail life insurance initiatives

  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Product, Compliance, CX, Operations, and Distribution teams to ensure accurate, timely and customer-focused messaging

  • Manage communications delivery timelines, approvals, budgets and reporting to ensure high-quality execution and compliance with brand and regulatory requirements

  • Review and audit existing customer communication journeys to identify opportunities and implement solutions that improve clarity, engagement and customer experience

  • Apply customer insights and data to develop engaging communications that drive understanding and improve customer experience

  • Work with creative and digital partners to develop innovative communications and content assets

  • Identify communication risks and opportunities, and proactively recommend solutions to enhance customer outcomes

Requirements:

  • Experience in a Customer Marketing or Communications Manager role preferably within the life insurance industry

  • Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills – confident in engaging, influencing and aligning diverse stakeholders

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and deliver to tight deadlines

  • Strong creative judgement and ability to translate complex information into clear, customer-friendly messaging

  • Commercial acumen and a pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset
