Medical Laboratory Professional

We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team of scientists and technicians at RPA, working alongside administrative and medical staff to deliver high-quality pathology results for patients and clinicians.
Located at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Campus in Camperdown, Sydney, our laboratory is easily accessible by public transport and offers proximity to cafes and entertainment venues.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct laboratory investigations and tests (manual and automated) and technical tasks by applying established methods and protocols.
- Maintain materials and equipment in line with laboratory standards and requirements.
- A minimum qualification of Diploma in Laboratory Technology or equivalent from a recognized tertiary institution with relevant subjects.
- Experience in pathology services, including use of Laboratory Information Systems, Patient Systems, and Quality Systems.
- The ability to work responsibly, efficiently, and manage priorities to meet deadlines and objectives.
- A strong ability to work in a team and autonomously to deliver results within set timeframes.
- Excellent customer-focused skills with strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Skillful problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve issues effectively.
- A commitment to quality management and continuous improvement activities.
