
Site Construction Professional

We are seeking a skilled and experienced construction professional to join our team as a site engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex construction projects, delivering results that exceed expectations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with quality, health and safety, and environmental policies and procedures. They will also coordinate and administer construction engineering activities, interpreting designs for implementation in construction projects and contributing to improvements to existing designs.
Additionally, the site engineer will monitor construction progress for adherence to design, programme, safety and quality. They will require a recognised tertiary or trade qualification in a construction related field, prior experience in a similar role delivering construction projects, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Company Quality, Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental Policies and Procedures
- Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure that projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs and specifications
- Interpret designs for implementation in construction projects and contribute to improvements to existing designs
- Monitor construction progress for adherence to design, programme, safety and quality
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A recognised tertiary or trade qualification in a construction related field
- Prior experience in a similar role delivering construction projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning, and decision making skills
