About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Catering Attendant to join our team at dnata catering. As a Catering Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality meals to our airline customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of meals, including food handling, plating, and meal tray set-up, ensuring presentation specifications are met.
  • Equipment Management: Stock and restock airline carts with dry store items, including equipment, packaged snacks, and canned/bottled beverages.
  • Wash Area Operations: Load and unload industrial wash lines, ensuring all cutlery, crockery, and glassware are in perfect condition.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate and coordinate with team members to ensure delivery timelines are met.
Requirements
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain accurate counts and attention to detail in all aspects of the role.
  • Communication Skills: Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for prolonged periods, move, and lift items.
  • Availability: Willingness to work a 7-day roster, including shift work.
  • Neat and Tidy Presentation: Maintain a neat and tidy appearance at all times.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP principles (desired but not essential).
  • Basic Knife Skills: Possess basic knife skills (desired but not essential).
  • Criminal History Check: Obtain a clear National Police Check.
