Job Title: Control Systems Engineer

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning and maintenance of various control systems to ensure high quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and commission building management systems (BMS) and associated hardware/software;
  • Provide preventative maintenance and repairs to BMS systems ensuring they are operating at peak performance;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems with other building services;
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation and records of work completed, including site reports and technical notes;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in control system technology, implementing new procedures and best practices as needed;
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety protocols, reporting any incidents or near misses to management;
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in control system engineering;
  • Contribute to the development of process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives within the team;

Requirements:

  • Strong background in building management systems, HVAC and electrical engineering principles;
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to troubleshoot complex issues;
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team;
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in presenting technical information to non-technical stakeholders;
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines;
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and CAD software;
  • Ability to lift 25kg and work at heights where necessary;
  • Current driver's license and willingness to travel locally for work purposes.
