Site Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Community Operations Manager to oversee daily activities at our Learning and Lifestyle centre and Community Access Services in Norman Gardens, Rockhampton.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality personalized supports to individuals with disabilities within a sustainable framework.

Main Responsibilities:

• Strategic management of a community site, encompassing personalized planning and development for all individuals with disability.
• Fostering a team environment where employees can identify and solve problems to ensure the personalized planning process translates into action.
• Maintaining thorough training and awareness among team members regarding individual client requirements and shared documentation.
• Supervising a team of Support Workers to ensure effective site operations and mitigate operational challenges.
• Developing, implementing, and reviewing person-centered agreements and products for new and existing individuals.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in human services or related field.
• Experience in successfully managing site-based services within a related industry, such as the Disability Sector, and experience within Community services support for people with a disability.
• Demonstrated expertise in coaching individuals with complex requirements to achieve set outcomes and desired behaviors within the workplace.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the National Standards Disability Services, Quality & Safeguarding Framework, disability services provision, and NDIS.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills required to grow relationships with team members and stakeholders and lead through adversity.
• Holding or being willing to obtain relevant certifications including Working with Children Check (Blue Card), NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card), National Criminal History Check (Fit2Work), and an open Drivers License with comprehensive insurance on your vehicle.
