This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations at our Learning and Lifestyle centre and the Community Access Services in Norman Gardens, Rockhampton, enhancing service delivery through efficient management practices.
About This RoleThis is a permanent, full-time opportunity based on site at the community hub, providing high-quality person-centred supports to people with disability both in the Lifestyle Centre and in the community within a sustainable framework.
You will lead a team to deliver supports that develop independence, confidence, self-esteem, and social interaction skills, developing activities programs that foster the strengths and goals of the participants attending the day service.
Key Responsibilities- End-to-end management of a community site, personalized planning and development for all people with disability, ensuring effective service delivery.
- Developing a team environment where employees can identify and solve problems to ensure the personalized planning process translates into action.
- Ensuring team members are fully trained and aware of individual client requirements with shared documentation.
- Supervising a team of Support Workers to maintain effective site operations and mitigate operational challenges.
- A Bachelor's degree in human services or related field, demonstrating strong knowledge in service management.
- Experience with successfully managing site-based services within a related industry, such as the Disability Sector, and experience within community services support for people with a disability.
- Demonstrated experience in coaching individuals including those with complex requirements to achieve set outcomes and desired behaviours within the workplace.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the National Standards Disability Services, Quality & Safeguarding Framework, disability services provision and NDIS.
