Environmental Scientist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and experienced environmental scientist to lead our team's research efforts. As a key member, you will have the opportunity to make a real-world impact by designing, implementing, and analyzing field trials to improve environmental performance.

  • Designing and implementing large-scale field trials to monitor and analyze environmental outcomes;
  • Collaborating with external research partners to co-design studies that meet end-user needs;
  • Communicating findings to internal and external stakeholders through presentations, reports, and publications;
  • Working closely with rehabilitation teams to assist in handback and botanical monitoring programs;
  • Contributing to broader research initiatives, such as rehabilitation implementation, native plant production, fauna interactions, and soil and water dynamics.

  • Background in mining rehabilitation and GIS would be considered desirable;
  • A valid driver's license is required for site travel.
