Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Administrator to join our team at Link Group. As a key member of our Technology team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient, functional, and stable database environment across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and resolve database issues, perform root cause analysis, and document problem workarounds.
  • Provide technical support for scheduled release upgrades and deployments.
  • Ensure database administration practices follow information and data security policies.
  • Support core business application environments to ensure 24x7 availability.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Computer Science.
  • Over 8 years' experience in supporting large complex 24x7 application environments in financial services industry.
  • Experience supporting multiple large databases on SQL Server hosted on-prem and on Azure.
  • Database DevOps experience is essential.
  • Sound knowledge of MSSQL RDBMS and SQL problem-solving and scripting.
  • Experience with High Availability and Disaster Recovery process.
  • Experience with Performance tuning, performance analysis, and resolution.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in analytics or machine learning platforms.
  • Experience in other RDBMS platforms like ORACLE, MYSQL, Postgre SQL.
