We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in a Business Advisory role. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality accountancy services to our clients across a broad range of industries.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review company and trust tax returns, including consolidated company tax returns for large corporate clients.
- Assist with compilation of special purpose financial statements for family groups.
- Work on business advisory projects such as budgets, cash-flows, KPI dashboards, management reporting, and virtual CFO roles.
- Provide guidance and support to clients on the use of accounting software and help them get the most out of it for their business needs.
- Previous business advisory accounting experience gained within public practice.
- CA, CPA qualification or working towards this.
- Strong analytical skills and an inquisitive mindset, with a desire to deeply understand our clients' businesses, structures, and challenges.
- Excellent Excel skills and practical experience with cloud accounting products (i.e. Xero, MYOB).
- Genuine desire to be an enthusiastic and active contributor to our growing team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize your workload.
- Fantastic people skills, an outgoing personality, and a passion for accounting and business advisory services.
