About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in a Business Advisory role. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality accountancy services to our clients across a broad range of industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review company and trust tax returns, including consolidated company tax returns for large corporate clients.
  • Assist with compilation of special purpose financial statements for family groups.
  • Work on business advisory projects such as budgets, cash-flows, KPI dashboards, management reporting, and virtual CFO roles.
  • Provide guidance and support to clients on the use of accounting software and help them get the most out of it for their business needs.
Requirements
  • Previous business advisory accounting experience gained within public practice.
  • CA, CPA qualification or working towards this.
  • Strong analytical skills and an inquisitive mindset, with a desire to deeply understand our clients' businesses, structures, and challenges.
  • Excellent Excel skills and practical experience with cloud accounting products (i.e. Xero, MYOB).
  • Genuine desire to be an enthusiastic and active contributor to our growing team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize your workload.
  • Fantastic people skills, an outgoing personality, and a passion for accounting and business advisory services.
