Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lifestyle and Community Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our care home team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of Person-First Leisure and Lifestyle Programs, managing a team of recreational activity officers, and providing quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate recreational activities and programs to promote emotional and physical rehabilitation
  • Lead and develop a team of recreational activity officers to deliver high-quality care and support to residents
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to plan and organize recreational activities and programs
  • Ensure individual resident needs, values, spiritual, and cultural preferences are respected and incorporated into care planning
  • Complete documented assessments to determine resident capabilities, needs, and problems
Requirements
  • Cert IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or degree-level qualifications
  • Previous experience in a similar role or in caring for the elderly
  • Senior First Aid Certificate and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to solve problems and work collaboratively as part of a team
