Speech Pathologist Opportunity in Mount Isa

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our team in Mount Isa. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech pathology services to clients in regional North Queensland.

Job Description:
  • Administer standardised and informal assessments to determine the nature and extent of clients' speech, language, learning and communication disorders or swallowing difficulties.
  • Provide treatment and management including ongoing therapy of speech, language, learning and communication disorders that may be developmental, part of a disability, acquired as a result of injury or disease.
  • Deliver family centred early childhood intervention strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Passion for providing quality healthcare to rural communities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
