Speech Pathologist Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Speech Pathologist to join our team in Mount Isa, Queensland.

About the Role
  • This is an exciting opportunity for a Speech Pathologist to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, providing assessment, intervention, and case management services to clients with communication disorders.
  • You will be working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide clinical care and health promotion activities.
  • Your role will involve developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Conduct home assessments and modification assessments to promote independence and safety.
Requirements
  • A tertiary degree (or equivalent qualification) in Speech Pathology and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
  • Experience in providing assessment, intervention, and case management services in various settings.
  • A strong understanding of the health issues impacting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and a commitment to improving health outcomes.
  • The ability to work sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and commit to the philosophy and practice of an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service.
