Job Title: Veterinary Emergency Care Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our multidisciplinary veterinary facility. Our team is passionate about delivering exceptional emergency and specialist services, with our emergency and critical care department operating 24/7 year-round.

As a vital member of our team, you will have access to advanced diagnostic imaging options, including MRI, CT, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, and ultrasound. We also perform in-house laboratory tests with an internal IDEXX laboratory station and ABL90 flex blood gas.

You will work collaboratively with dedicated veterinarians, veterinary nurses, customer care representatives, and clinic assistants who share your passion for making a meaningful difference in the lives of animals and their devoted owners.

  • Permanent part-time and casual positions available
  • Combination of hospital shifts and consulting shifts
  • Varied shifts including days, nights, and weekends

About You

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent, with Veterinary Registration in Victoria
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency veterinary practice, though it's not essential
  • A strong team player committed to fostering a positive workplace atmosphere
  • Eagerness to contribute innovative ideas that enhance the hospital's growth and success
  • Dedication to providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact tactfully with colleagues, pet owners, and referring veterinarians
