Become an Inspiring Educator

Job Description

As a dedicated educator, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children.

You will be responsible for ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and comfort of all children in our care, maintaining a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children, and developing and implementing age-appropriate learning programs that reflect EYLF principles, practices, and learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and comfort of all children in our care.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children.
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate learning programs that reflect EYLF principles, practices, and learning outcomes.
  • Plan and deliver experiences that support children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
  • Assist in incorporating cultural diversity and inclusivity in programming.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, helping them develop self-confidence and social skills.
  • Engage and build partnerships with families, sharing insights about their child's progress and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to support children's needs.
  • Adhere to the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
  • Maintain knowledge of child protection laws and report concerns as required.
  • Follow health, safety, and hygiene policies, including food safety and infection control.
Requirements

- Minimum Cert III in ECEC (or ACECQA equivalent).

- Proven experience with EYLF, NQF and Child Safe Standards.

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proven experience with assisting to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

- Passion for fostering a love of learning in young children.
