Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Services Specialist to join our team at Interactive Brokers.

Salary:$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Research and resolve client questions and issues related to account opening and maintenance, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Multitask with a focus on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) knowledge, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the IBA brokerage platform and policy, utilizing this knowledge to provide alternatives that satisfy client concerns while maintaining compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with Legal and Compliance, Program Developers, and Project Managers to ensure adherence to new and existing procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrate ability to identify, analyze, and escalate complex issues, utilizing excellent troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills.
  • Take ownership of identifying client needs, providing a high-value experience that exceeds expectations.
  • Work efficiently, self-motivated, and hardworking in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, contributing to the success of the New Account team and Risk Assessment Team.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Client Service and/or Financial Service, or equivalent fresh graduate with relevant education and aptitude.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; Cantonese and Mandarin are advantageous.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in brokerage or corporate banking, with familiarity in handling client concerns and issues with tact and diplomacy.
  • Strong research, investigatory, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to multitask various projects and firm initiatives.
  • Intermediate experience with MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team, handling multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.
