Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Assistant Coordinator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for you to take the next step in your childcare career, overseeing the Senior Students program for children in Years 3-6.

This permanent part-time leadership position offers between 25-35 hours per week with availability being required between 2:30-5:30pm, Monday-Friday. You will also have regular non-contact time, so we can support you in supporting our service, and attend a weekly leadership team meeting, where you meet directly with our Service Manager and Educational Leader.

The ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience in a child care setting, supporting a team of passionate educators with an emphasis on communication, collaboration, and reflection. They must also possess a relevant qualification at Diploma level or higher, as well as a valid Working with Children Card and current First Aid certificate, including CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis.

In addition, the successful candidate will have COVID Vaccinations, Child protection training, and extensive knowledge of current child care legislation, including the MTOP framework and the National Quality Framework. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications
