Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Advisor to join our team at AUTOrecruit. As a Technical Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our Workshop, providing expert advice to customers on technical issues, and mentoring and training staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing expert technical advice to customers on vehicle issues
- Mentoring and training staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their roles
- Producing repair orders and ensuring accurate documentation
- Attending technical training sessions to stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments
- Working closely with the Service Manager and other staff members to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
- Liaising with the Workshop team to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting vehicle mechanical and electrical systems
- Assisting technicians with technical issues and providing guidance and support
- Ordering parts and ensuring accurate inventory management
- Handling customer complaints and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner
- Promoting a safe and healthy work environment
- Ensuring compliance with warranty requirements and industry regulations
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong mechanical abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also need to be highly skilled in vehicle diagnostics and have a strong commitment to customer service.
