Job Overview

This role offers the opportunity to provide support to individuals with disabilities and elderly people in their own homes or community settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming and medication administration
  • Providing transportation for social activities, shopping/groceries, and medical appointments
  • Offering domestic assistance, including light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Supporting participants with complex and/or challenging needs
  • Updating on participants' progress following each service
  • Delivering learning & life skills Support: Assisting participants in acquiring new skills, such as cooking, cleaning, dressing, using transport, and other skills resulting in gaining independence

Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for transporting clients (if needed) and traveling to and between customer locations
  • Able to operate a wheelchair-accessible van

Flexibility and Ongoing Support:

Work as an employee or contractor, selecting shifts according to your schedule. Our organization provides ongoing office and clinical support to ensure your success in this role.
