Job Opportunity: Building Surveyor

Our organization is seeking a skilled and experienced building surveyor to support our existing client base. As a key team member, you will utilize your technical expertise and professionalism to contribute to the growth and development of our Hobart office.

  • Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with clients, providing exceptional service and supporting their needs.
  • Collaborate with peers to achieve business objectives and drive the expansion of the Hobart Office.
  • Conduct regulatory assessments on commercial and residential projects, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and codes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and coordinate Certificate of Likely Compliance, Occupancy Permits, Certificates, and other essential documents.
  • Manage multiple projects from inception to completion, delegating tasks as required and fostering a culture of accountability.
  • Lead by example, guiding the professional growth and development of staff through mentorship, education, and support.
  • Engage with stakeholders, providing technical assistance and delivering exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Building Surveyor Unlimited (candidates without this must demonstrate ability to become licensed or obtain Mutual Recognition).
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role, although we welcome applicants at all levels of experience.
  • A degree or postgraduate qualification in Building Surveying.
