About the Role

We are seeking applications from qualified Mathematics and Science teachers who possess exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to Christian values.

The successful candidate will lead the development of curriculum and assessment practices within the faculty, ensuring effective instructional strategies are implemented.

  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Mentor and support staff in their daily practice, fostering a collaborative and Christ-centred culture within the team.
  • Promote a culture of data-driven decision making within the faculty.
  • Ensure faculty compliance with NESA and school-based curriculum, assessment, and reporting requirements.

Requirements
  • Demonstrate expertise in Mathematics and Science education, with a proven track record of improving student learning outcomes.
  • Be able to receive constructive feedback on your teaching and implement changes accordingly.
  • Prioritise the implementation of an explicit instruction approach to teaching, based on a knowledge-rich curriculum.
  • Analyse educational data effectively, devising strategies and interventions to improve student outcomes.
  • Demonstrate excellence in teaching as described by the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
  • Hold an active Christian faith, suitable tertiary qualifications, and NESA accreditation (or be eligible).
