Role: Early Childhood Teacher - Educational Leader

Location: Gateshead, NSW 2290

Centre: Goodstart Gateshead

Employment Type: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $43.55 - $66.08 per hour + $2.25 Educational Leader Allowance + Super

Responsibilities
  • Lead change, and champion practice uplift and excellence
  • Collaborate with Educators to observe, review, and continuously enhance the educational programs offered to children
  • Deepen the team's understanding of child development and early years content, guiding the application of the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Work closely with the centre leadership team to lead transformative changes and champion excellence in educational practice
  • Diversify your daily routine by supporting the team across different rooms
  • Lead a team of 20+ Early Childhood Professionals in the centre
  • Enjoy working in a rotating roster during the centre's operational hours from 7am to 6pm

You'll Need
  • Bachelor in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Teacher Accreditation (NESA)
  • Current NSW Working with Children Check

A nurturing environment with a capacity of 86 places where Goodstart Gateshead caters to children across Nursery, Toddlers and Kindergarten/Preschool rooms. The centre features age-appropriate indoor and outdoor play spaces.
