Job Title: Support and Development OfficerWe are seeking an experienced and dedicated Support and Development Officer to join our team. This role will be responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of programs and activities designed to support students and promote their overall well-being.The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with staff and students across different year levels. They will also have a strong understanding of student needs and be able to provide tailored support to meet these requirements.This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a high level of organization, time management, and attention to detail. The successful applicant will be working in a fast-paced environment and will need to be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.Responsibilities include:
  • Assisting with the coordination of programs and activities designed to support students and promote their overall well-being;
  • Providing individualized support to students who require additional assistance;
  • Working collaboratively with staff and students to identify areas of need and develop strategies to address these gaps;
  • Developing and implementing programs and activities to promote student engagement and participation;
  • Monitoring and evaluating program effectiveness and making recommendations for improvement;
A key aspect of this role is the ability to build relationships with students, parents, and staff. The successful applicant will need to be highly approachable, empathetic, and communicative, with excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and has a proven track record of delivering high-quality programs and services.
