About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Electrician to join our team at ARTC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, repair, and upgrade electrical and electronic equipment and systems
- Install new electrical and electronic equipment and wiring according to relevant codes and standards
- Perform field service work and workshop repairs
- Assist in the management of inventory plant spares
- Develop the trade skills and knowledge of apprentices through mentoring and coaching
Requirements
- Auto Electrical Trade Certificate relevant to the position
- Experience with electro-hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electronic systems
- Experience in maintaining heavy rail/earthmoving equipment
- High levels of self-motivation and ability to work independently or within a team environment
- Dedicated commitment to Workplace Health and Safety
