About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Electrician to join our team at ARTC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect, maintain, repair, and upgrade electrical and electronic equipment and systems
  • Install new electrical and electronic equipment and wiring according to relevant codes and standards
  • Perform field service work and workshop repairs
  • Assist in the management of inventory plant spares
  • Develop the trade skills and knowledge of apprentices through mentoring and coaching

Requirements

  • Auto Electrical Trade Certificate relevant to the position
  • Experience with electro-hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electronic systems
  • Experience in maintaining heavy rail/earthmoving equipment
  • High levels of self-motivation and ability to work independently or within a team environment
  • Dedicated commitment to Workplace Health and Safety
