Lead Tax Advisor Role

Job Description:

KPMG Law's Tax Dispute Resolution and Controversy team has extensive experience assisting organisations in preparing for, managing and resolving tax disputes. Our dynamic team is looking for experienced lawyers to join our growing practice.

  • Prepare clients for risk reviews, audits and disputes with revenue authorities
  • Work on complex ATO audits, prepare objections and advise clients on tax litigation
  • Develop written and oral advocacy skills and provide legal advice on taxation law and administrative law
Your Experience:

We are seeking candidates with experience in corporate tax, international tax, tax law and/or tax dispute resolution and controversy. This includes prior experience in a Big 4 professional services firm, a law firm or the Australian Taxation Office.

  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering quality services to clients, providing value add solutions to client problems
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing and project management skills, as well as an ability to motivate and work as part of a high-performing team
  • Ability to develop strong client relations and be proactive in deepening those relationships
Qualifications:

A Law Degree is required to be eligible for this role.
