About Us

About the Role

The Practice Manager is responsible for the delivery of safe and effective health services to Eligible Personnel and entitled civilians in accordance with professional standards and legislation, and Defence Policies and Procedures. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
  • Developing and maintaining strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
  • Leading a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the healthcare facility, including staff supervision, patient flow, and resource allocation.
  • Maintaining current First Aid (HLTAID011) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Diploma in Practice Management or nationally recognised equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 years full-time (or part-time equivalent) experience as a Practice Manager in a multi-clinician practice within the last 5 years.
  • Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and exceptional service.
