About the Role

CQUniversity is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Solutions Expert to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in advancing our data-driven culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyzing systems and developing innovative solutions to enhance the effectiveness of our business intelligence assets.
  • Identifying and recommending improvements to our business intelligence systems, translating business needs into actionable specifications.
  • Developing and administering solutions to ensure our systems are reliable, secure, and perform at their best.
  • Providing clear, practical advice on utilizing our data assets to stakeholders.
  • Managing projects, resolving complex issues, and contributing to large-scale system upgrades.
  • Mentoring team members and staying ahead of industry trends to continuously improve our operations.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of requirements analysis and design specification in the context of reporting projects.
  • Experience and knowledge of data visualization and data analytics principles and techniques.
  • Understanding of data, policies, and legislation related to the education sector.
  • Experience in contemporary data visualization platforms, e.g. Power BI, or similar.
  • Skills in data query, manipulation, and reporting using contemporary tools and query languages.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage small to medium-sized projects.
