Midwifery Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated midwife to join our team. Our maternity service supports around 200 women each year, providing care for low-risk pregnancies.
About the RoleThe role of the midwife is to work within a multidisciplinary team providing high-quality care to women and their families. An undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in midwifery is essential.
- Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care in a modified caseload model of midwifery care to women and their families.
- Work as part of a dynamic team providing holistic maternity care to women and their families across the birthing continuum.
The successful candidate will bring:
- Bachelor of Nursing and Graduate Diploma in Midwifery or Direct Entry Bachelor of Midwifery qualifications.
- Registration as a midwife with the relevant health authority.
- Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively with colleagues and other stakeholders.

Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality midwifery care to women and their families.
Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
Develop and maintain professional relationships with women and their families.
Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance midwifery skills.
Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to midwifery practice.
RequirementsRegistered midwife with the relevant health authority.
Current driver's license.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of midwifery practices and standards.
