Gold Project Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Underground Production Engineer to join our Gold Project located in a major gold and nickel producing district.

This key role will focus on optimizing resource recovery through accurate design of stope shapes, drilling plans, and blasting plans to deliver the mine production schedule.

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary degree in Mining Engineering and strong underground production experience. Deswik & VentSim competency is highly regarded but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with Mine Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations;
  • Develop safe and efficient production plans and designs (including drilling, charging, remote bogging);
  • Maintain drill and blast standards;
  • Support infrastructure projects and related instructions;
  • Hold Underground Manager ticket coverage when required;
  • Coordinate activities with onsite contractors and technical staff;
  • Validate sections of onsite contractor claims;
  • Manage raisebore and civil works contractors;
  • Mentor and develop the Production Engineering team.
