This exciting opportunity will see you take on a key role in maintaining and controlling the Association's Accounts Payable process from start to finish. As a vital link between RAA's external suppliers and internal business units, your expertise will be essential in ensuring seamless financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities- Process End of Month tasks and accruals, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare Corporate Credit Card cost allocations in accordance with detailed procedures.
- Reconcile supplier statements to the Accounts Payable ledger, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Provide prompt and accurate resolution to supplier/account payment queries.
- Offer support and relief to accounts staff as needed.
We're seeking a confident, self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Sound knowledge of the accounts payable function.
- Previous experience with financial software, preferably Finance One (Tech One).
- Previous clerical experience in accounts payable, with some reconciliation experience.
- Exceptional numeracy and accuracy skills.
- Outstanding problem-solving and resolution skills.
- Sound knowledge of spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
