Open Source Software Engineer

Transforming open source software operations is an exciting challenge for a passionate and skilled professional.
About the Role:
- We are looking for an engineer to design and deliver high-quality open source software operations code in Python and Golang.
- This role involves working with the entire Linux stack, from kernel to applications, and shaping robust open source monitoring and alerting infrastructure.
- The ideal candidate will rethink open source operations for our customers and community, applying sound engineering design and testing principles in their code.
- They will follow agile software development practices and coach and develop colleagues where possible.
- Growing a healthy, collaborative engineering culture is also a key aspect of this role.
Requirements:
- A strong passion for Python development with knowledge of cloud computing concepts and technologies.
- An organized approach to timely and high-quality software delivery.
- Understanding of reliable operations in an agile world.
- Practical knowledge of Linux and networking.
- A lifelong learner with a desire to grow and improve skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A university degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience with Golang programming.
