About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join our team at Ferguson Plarre Bakehouses, a renowned bakery with a rich history of creating high-quality baked goods. As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for producing a wide range of laminated pastries, including Croissants and Danish varieties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pastry Production: Produce high-quality pastry and other baked goods to meet our standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to fulfill customer orders and meet production targets.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all products meet food safety and quality standards.
  • Occupational Health and Safety: Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to occupational health and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Trade Qualifications: Trade qualifications in pastry or equivalent are desirable, but not essential if you have significant experience.
  • Attention to Detail: Possess great attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Punctuality and Reliability: Demonstrate punctuality and reliability in your work.
  • Previous Experience: Have previous experience working in a fast-paced food environment.
