Full Time Health Teacher Opportunity

The role of a health and physical education teacher involves promoting physical fitness and healthy habits among students through various sports and activities. This is achieved by developing and implementing engaging programs that foster a positive learning environment.
Physical education plays a significant role in young people's development, and the ideal environment for educators and students alike must be created. The teacher will promote diverse sports and activities to achieve this goal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing physical education programs to cater to students of all abilities
- Planning, delivering, and assessing physical education curriculum for students of all levels
- Adapting lesson plans to individual student needs ensuring safety and well-being
- Collaborating with other teachers to integrate physical education with broader school goals
Teaching classes and year levels will be determined based on candidate expertise, experience, and operational requirements.
Qualifications and RequirementsThe ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills and strong ability to connect with and motivate students. In addition, the candidate must hold a degree qualified in Secondary Health/Physical Education Education and VIT registration. Experience teaching Health/Physical Education to Years 7-10 and VCE Units 3 & 4 Physical Education is preferred.
