Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Specialist Learning Support Teacher to join our team in a full-time, permanent position. This role involves providing support to a Year 3 student with neurodiverse needs.

About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who has a strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum and Syllabus. The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting students with Down Syndrome and broader neurodiverse needs.

  • Fostering inclusive practice: The successful candidate will be able to develop and implement personalised learning programs, with strong skills in differentiation and adjustment documentation (aligned to NCCD).
  • Collaboration and communication: We are looking for a candidate who can work closely with classroom teachers, families, allied health professionals, and support staff to create a consistent approach.
  • Leadership within support: Ability to mentor, coordinate, and upskill colleagues in inclusive practice.
