The Train Driver Training Program is a comprehensive, full-time program designed to equip candidates with the skills and knowledge required to become qualified Train Drivers.
Located in Sydney, NSW, this permanent position involves training and development to achieve a high level of proficiency in train operation and management.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in on-the-job and classroom/train simulation training to develop operational skills and knowledge.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure safe and timely journeys for passengers.
- Engage in ongoing assessments and evaluations to demonstrate progress and proficiency.
- Adapt to varying shift start and finish times within a 24/7 timetable, including public holidays.
- Able to commit to a demanding training schedule, including assessments and extra home study.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, remaining resilient, dependable, and organized under pressure.
- Previous experience in a safety-focused workplace is desirable but not essential.
- Must be legally eligible to work and participate in the Trainee Train Driver program.
