As a Government Liaison Specialist, you will be responsible for providing executive support to the Commissioner of Police and the Deputy Commissioner of Police. This role involves managing the provision of comprehensive briefing materials, information, and research services concerning legislative enquiries; supporting the Commissioner's interactions with government; providing high-level advice concerning Ministerial, Cabinet, and Parliamentary related issues to employees of all levels in SAPOL; acting as Executive Officer to committees; undertaking special assignments and projects; maintaining registers; and assisting with quality control by reviewing and implementing changes to associated administrative systems to improve efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior executives, government officials, and other stakeholders. They will also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide high-quality advice and support to the Commissioner and the Deputy Commissioner.
