Job Overview

The Site Supply Chain Lead plays a pivotal role in the site leadership team, overseeing all supply chain activities at the Mulgrave site. Key responsibilities include planning, purchasing, and logistics to ensure customer requirements are met in accordance with forecasts and orders.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop a comprehensive production schedule that integrates sales forecasts, plant capability, inventory holdings, raw material supply, and maintenance requirements for short-term planning.
  2. Collaborate with the Site Engineering Manager to optimize machine time for schedule maintenance.
  3. Review daily delivery schedules and notify relevant parties about late deliveries.
  4. Monitor production output, inventory, customer orders/forecasts, material supplies, and trends to meet customer requirements.
  5. Attend weekly/monthly resin forecast reviews with the Divisional Supply Chain Manager.
  6. Create new product codes and maintain accurate BOMs & Routes for the planning system.
  7. Manage Manufacturing Orders from creation to completion – Job costing process.
  8. Lead site inventory stocktake schedules.
  9. Generate Purchase Orders based on MRP requirements (daily).
  10. Track and follow up on POs imminent due and overdue (both imported and local – daily).

To succeed, candidates should have experience in a Planning senior role within a 24/5 manufacturing environment, strong knowledge of ERP systems, high computer skills in MS Office, Excel, Word, and Emails, personal drive, results-orientation, ability to work outside standard hours when required, visible belief and demonstrated leadership in a Zero Harm culture, and resilience under pressure.
