Transform Learning Experience

Macquarie University is recruiting an Academic Success Partner to join the dynamic and exciting Academic Success team. This role empowers coursework students' academic success through co-leading curricular and co-curricular programs and services.

The ideal candidate will have a Postgraduate qualification in education or an academic literacies-related field and/or sustained relevant experience delivering academic success programs. A teaching or academic background in a STEM discipline would be beneficial.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-lead the design and delivery of curricular and co-curricular programs and services.
  • Embed academic, digital and professional literacies in units and courses with academic staff.
  • Deliver concurrent support programs to all students, especially those most at risk.
  • Develop and implement research-informed strategies to maximise student success.

  • Postgraduate qualification in education or an academic literacies-related field.

  • Knowledge of the higher education sector, particularly legislative and regulatory requirements relating to academic success and support for students.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, including the proficiency to evaluate program effectiveness and undertake continuous quality improvement activities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the aptitude to advise and influence key stakeholders.
