Job Description

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Manager to join our team at REO Group. As a key member of our cloud infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration of new data sources and optimizing existing workflows.

Your primary focus will be on enhancing our Azure infrastructure, databases, and data pipelines. You will work closely with our Data Analytics Manager and Data Analysts to identify and implement improvements in data integration, performance, and security.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain cloud data infrastructure and systems to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
  • Manage and maintain Azure servers, databases, and data pipelines to support seamless data operations.
  • Develop and optimize cloud infrastructure to facilitate efficient data integrations and workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data infrastructure with business objectives and requirements.
  • Oversee Azure private networking to ensure secure and efficient data communication.
  • Manage Azure authentication and role management (IAM) to control access and maintain security.
  • Monitor system performance continuously and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Implement security best practices to safeguard data integrity and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual workload.

Candidate Profile:

We are looking for a technically skilled individual with a minimum of 7 years in cloud infrastructure management and 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure. You have a strong background in managing Azure IaaS, ARM templates, and PowerShell scripting. Your expertise in networking, security, and Identity and Access Management (IAM) is essential for this role. Additionally, experience with data platforms like Databricks and proficiency in SQL are highly desirable.

You possess excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges. Your ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams is crucial for driving successful outcomes. You are capable of working independently, taking initiative, and making informed decisions. Your innovative mindset and passion for technology will enable you to continuously improve our data infrastructure and contribute to the company's success.
