Job Overview

The Construction Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of projects from conceptual design to delivery and finalisation.

This includes facilitating communication amongst various departments to ensure everyone is aligned. The position requires strong leadership and project delivery skills, with an unwavering commitment to customer service.

  • Provide support for reporting, forecasting, budget control, procurement, and program updates.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation in Aconex and SharePoint.
  • Assist in reviewing and preparing procurement documentation, including Scope of Works and programming.
  • Facilitate and lead project meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Support contract administration during the project life cycle.
  • Coordinate project activities from early works to final handover.
  • Support the preparation of Expenditure Approval Requests for services trades contracts and variations.
  • Validate GC and services trade progress claims, participate in site inspections, and prepare payment certificates.

Key qualifications include:

  • Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security Clearance.

Strong understanding of key stakeholder requirements with effective communication through ACONEX, PROCORE, and BIM. Expertise in building methods, materials, and safety regulations. Skilled in interpreting drawings, architectural plans, and specifications. Knowledgeable in quality control, health and safety systems, and cost management.
