We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapy Leader to join our team at Alfred Health, a leading provider of healthcare services in Melbourne's inner southeast suburbs.

Job Summary:

This dynamic role involves providing clinical leadership and supervision to occupational therapy staff, while also contributing to the development of our allied health service and clinical programs.

About the Role:

  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to occupational therapy staff
  • Contribute to the development of our allied health service and clinical programs
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Mentor and support junior staff members to achieve their professional goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) or recognised equivalent
  • Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy or related field (desired)
  • Full registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia
  • Member of OT Australia (or eligible for membership)
  • Current Victorian driver's license (unrestricted)

Essential Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years' experience in occupational therapy, including 4 years in a clinical specialty area
  • Demonstrated clinical expertise and leadership in a relevant area
  • Well-developed leadership skills, including the ability to undertake professional supervision
  • A clear understanding of strategic priorities specific to a large public healthcare provider

Salary:

The salary for this role is estimated to be between $95,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
