Job Title

Are you passionate about health and fitness? Do you have a talent for helping others achieve their goals?

We are seeking an experienced Health and Fitness Professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering tailored personal fitness programs that cater to the needs of our clients.

As a successful candidate, you will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a team environment. You will also have a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and creating a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a current Provide First Aid qualification (HLTAID 011) and a valid Working with Children Check as per Child Protection (Working with Children) Regulation 2013, or be willing to obtain prior to any offer of employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver tailored personal fitness programs that cater to the needs of our clients
  • Provide exceptional customer service and create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for our clients
  • Work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with other staff and members of the public
  • Hold a current Provide First Aid qualification (HLTAID 011)
  • Hold a valid Working with Children Check as per Child Protection (Working with Children) Regulation 2013, or be willing to obtain prior to any offer of employment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A registered fitness professional certification - Gym Instructor
  • Experience working in a sport, fitness or wellbeing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to participate and actively contribute in a team environment to achieve organisational goals and outcomes
  • Strong customer service ethos and a demonstrated customer-centric approach to service provision
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other staff and members of the public both verbally and in writing

  • Hourly rate ranging between $32.14 - $38.64 plus 12% superannuation

Other Information

This is a permanent part-time role, minimum 20 hours per week, located at Lake Haven Recreation Centre. Successful candidates will be required to have vaccinations against Hepatitis B.
